The Queen and Napoleon talk about how they can help their favourite group — AFTER TUESDAY!!
Hey everyone!
After Tuesday is excited to announce that we have joined the ‘Sellaband’ community. If you ever wanted to invest in an artist you liked or wanted to pre-order an album well in advance this is the way to do it!
Here’s briefly how it works:
Go to www.sellaband.com/aftertuesday and check out the After Tuesday profile. If you want to invest in AT’s next album you can do so in increments of $10. As an incentive to investors (or ‘believers’ as they’re called on Sellaband) you get a free download of the album when it’s done and a proportional share of net revenues. And heck…$10 is what you would spend to download the album anyway when it’s completed, so why not essentially “pre-order” it and help After Tuesday. It also goes without saying that you would have our sincere appreciation and eternal gratitude. Or if you believe in the project as a financial investment, or as an investment in culture, you are more than welcome to buy as many Parts as you choose.
Best of all it’s safe and easy. Here’s why…
1) Sellaband acts as a neutral 3rd party to hold money in escrow and look after administrative duties. Once a band reaches their fundraising goal the band must submit receipts in order to be reimbursed - so you know all purchases are legit.
2) You can change your mind. Within two weeks after purchasing the Parts, you can claim back your money without giving any reasons. After this period, money can be transferred at any time from one Project to another as long as the band hasn’t reached their fundraising goal.
3) It’s simple and effective.
Of course, it is recommended that you read the full details at www.sellaband.com in order to ensure that you fully understand the process.
We hope that you’ll consider this opportunity to be an integral part of our next album. Thank you!!
Wishing everyone a happy new year! All the best for 2010!
From,
After Tuesday
The latest single “Last Train” by country artist Derek James Tilley is making a run up the charts! The song, which was co-written and produced by AFTER TUESDAY, was just released a few weeks ago and is already in rotation on dozens of radio stations nation-wide!
As always - you know what I’m about to say - be sure to request the song at your favourite radio station!
Thanks so much!
AFTER TUESDAY recently returned from Vancouver for the 2009 Canadian Country Music Awards. “What an amazing time we had,” said Marty. “So much to do, so little time! It was great to catch up with friends, and squeeze in some business too.” “A definite highlight for me was AT getting on stage at the Ole party with our buddies from Emerson Drive to do some cover tunes,” added Glenn. The guys also made the most of their time out west by songwriting with hitmaker Tal Bachman and veteran songwriter/producer Dave Pickell.
DEREK JAMES TILLEY - produced and managed by AFTER TUESDAY - recently had his album “Angels & Outlaws” hit #11 on the ‘Top Country Albums’ chart on iTunes!!
Congrats Derek!
Look for Derek and After Tuesday performing together this summer. Some dates include:
June 12 Innisfest; June 27 Peterborough Festival of Lights.
A big thank you goes out to the organizers of the Ontario Open Country Singing Contest in Blyth, ON. I had the wonderful opportunity to be a judge for the contest this past weekend and was treated to amazing hospitality and dozens of stellar performances by the contestants. Other judges included Tommy Gilham, Diane Chase, Stacey Lee and Travis Teed. Congratulations to the winners and all the participants.

After Tuesday performed a great set at the 1st annual Barrie Earth Hour Music Festival. They rocked the downtown Barrie crowd of some 3500 strong along with fellow performers David Usher, Tal Bachman, Derek James Tilley, Stacey Jamieson and Final Thought. Barrie Mayor Dave Aspden and Barrie MPP and Minister of Culture Aileen Carroll were also on hand to welcome the crowd and say a few words about the significance of supporting Earth Hour.
Ontarians as a whole were enthusiastic about Earth Hour showing a decrease in electricity demand of more than 6%. The numbers were even better locally showing a 10% decrease in Simcoe County and a whopping 15.1% in Toronto!
As organizers of the event After Tuesday would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, staff and everyone in attendance for making this such a great event in only its first year! More importantly a big thank you to everyone who supports Earth Hour everyday by eliminating non-essential use of power and helping to combat climate change.
See you next year!

After Tuesday is excited to announce their participation in the Barrie Earth Hour Music Festival - a free concert event in support of World Wildlife Funds’s global Earth Hour. Other performers include David Usher, Tal Bachman, Derek James Tilley and Stacey Jamieson.
Earth Hour is a global climate change initiative run by the WWF, which calls on individuals and businesses to turn off non-essential lighting for one hour on Saturday, March 28th, 2009 between 8:30pm and 9:30pm. The aim of the campaign is to demonstrate support for action on climate change and express that individual action on a mass scale can help change our planet for the better.
The festival will begin at 4:30pm and the performances will run from 6:00pm to about 10:00pm in downtown Barrie, ON just outside city hall. See you there, and please help support Earth Hour!
